This is a great camera and it has a very nice zoom, my other panasonic only had a 3x and this has 12x optical. Having the extra zoom capabilities really help. Bottom line this is amazing buy one !!!

The camera works flawlessly, the only detraction is the battery\/disc door can open accidentally quite easily.
