Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25

Offering a wide-angle Leica lens, very good image quality, a big LCD, and excellent battery life, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 is a great, well-rounded pocket cam. It does cost a shade more than the competition (the suggested retail price is $250), but...

29mm wide-angle Leica lens ; Great picture quality and battery life

Mini-joystick navigation is finicky ; Buttons are a bit small

The Lumix DMC-FS25 serves up a wide-angle lens, fun features, a huge LCD screen, and great battery life for the price.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Review

Panasonic has released yet another ultra-compact model for 2009, with the introduction of the new Lumix DMC-FS25. This 12-megapixel camera replaces the 10-megapixel DMC-FS20 from last year, offering several upgrades. The FS25 features a LEICA DC...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 is the new range-topping model in Panasonic's FS line of compact digital cameras, designed to be a more affordable version of the popular FX series. The Panasonic FS25 has a 5x wide-angle zoom lens equivalent to a versatile...

Despite the recent economic turmoil and increases in photography equipment prices, the Panasonic FS25 is the same price at launch as the previous FS20 model (at least at the time of writing). Therefore it again represents great value, offering many of...

Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 digital camera

Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FS25 is a compact travel-sized camera that was released at the beginning of this year. It has a 12MP sensor, 5x optical zoom, and a 3-inch LCD, making it competitive with upper-tier point-and-shoot modes from companies like Canon,...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25

Released in January 2009, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 is a 12.1 megapixel slim compact with a 5x optical zoom. It sits at the top of Panasonic's FS range, designed to be more affordable than it's FX range. The FS25 replaces the FS20, launched exactly...

Stylish good looks ; Responsive zoom with wide angle ; Variable brightness LCD ; Lots of Scene modes

Switch for play instead of button ; Flimsy battery cover ; Face detection poor in low light ; Some gimmicky scene modes

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 is a stylish, slim compact that looks good, feels comfortable to hold and produces good quality images. Its 5x optical zoom includes wide-angle coverage and is well suited to general purpose photography from group shots to...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 Review

Compared to the FS20, the FS25 boasts some significant enhancements including more zoom power, more resolution and better Intelligent Auto, but that may not be enough of a reason for somebody to upgrade to the FS25. Images are pretty hit or miss when...

Easy to use, Stylish and sleek, Compact and great for traveling

Unpredictable results, Poor ISO performance, AF too slow, Image quality not up to par

Review: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 camera

Offering a wide-angle Leica lens, very good image quality, a big LCD, and excellent battery life, Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FS25 is a great well-rounded pocket camera.

Rather than having to dive into the menus to choose this mode, Panasonic put a dedicated Intelligent Auto button right next to the shutter button to turn it on very easily. It’s a very handy feature, a great idea to have that mode easily accessible,...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 does cost a shade more than the competition (the suggested retail price is £229), but we've seen it available around the web for closer to £200.

As with any tech purchase, it's best to try the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 before you buy it, thanks to the love-it-or-hate-it mini-joystick that you use to access most of the menu functions. That's really the only main drawback of this camera, which...

Panasonic DMC FS25

If you are looking for a decent quality digital camera you can slip into a pocket then the Lumix FS25 will do the job admirably. It is available at a very reasonable price, is easy to use and takes a very good snapshot.

Picture quality - simple design - value for money

Shutter delay times could be a bit faster

The Panasonic Lumix DMC FS25 is a good, all round, point and shoot digital camera. I was impressed with the results of my tests and it offers a bit of extra value over some of the more expensive cameras with similar specifications.
