Sigma SD Quattro H Review

Sigma's SD Quattro H features the largest-ever Foveon sensor: an APS-H chip with a spatial resolution of 25.5 megapixels. An impressively solid body, refined interface and competitive price tag all count in its favor. But has the Quattro design given...

Sigma sd Quattro H

Landscape photographers may fall in love with the Sigma sd Quattro H, which delivers image quality on par with medium format systems for much less money, though it's not as versatile as mainstream cameras.

Incredible low ISO image quality. DNG workflow. Large APS-H image sensor. Dual rear LCDs. Removable IR filter. Optional battery grip available.

Poor high ISO images. Slow start and autofocus. EVF could be better. Omits video and Wi-Fi.

There's no quarreling with the incredible image quality that the Sigma sd Quattro H can shoot. For the price, you won't find another camera that delivers as much resolution for the price. If you do landscape, studio, or other types of fine art...

Sigma's first mirrorless cameras are exactly what we'd expect

Sigma follows up its must-have new lens announcements with a who-wants-it? debut of its first mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras, the Sigma sd Quattro and sd Quattro H. Sigma didn't release a lot of specs for the cameras (though B&H seems to have...

Sigma sd Quattro H Review

We review the new Sigma sd Quattro H - the mirrorless camera offers a high resolution Foveon APS-H sensor, which Sigma say is equivalent to a 51 megapixel camera.

The Sigma sd Quattro H, along with other Sigma cameras, is a unique camera that lets you use the Foveon sensor with any Sigma lens, and does away with the optical viewfinder and traditional Digital SLR styling. The Sigma sd Quattro H is a mirrorless...
