Toshiba PDR-M25 Review

Maybe the most affordable 2-megapixel, 3X-optical-zoom digital camera, Compact design, convenient controls, Outdoor shots as sharp as any camera's in its class

Indoor flash shots not nearly as good as daylight snaps, Can't record video clips or save uncompressed TIFF images, A bit awkward to use one-handed; typically skimpy 8MB flash card

The silver PDR-M25 is attractive in a retro-sci-fi sort of way, too big to conceal in a pocket or palm like some of its rivals, but still compact at 4.1 by 2.7 by 2.2 inches. It weighs 12 ounces with batteries and memory card in place. We wish its...

Toshiba PDR M25 review: Toshiba PDR M25

Toshiba PDR M25

Affordable; easy to use; selectable light-sensitivity settings.

Poor low-light performance; dim LCD; some shutter lag and slow recycle times.

Only first-timers new to the digital game should take a look at the user-friendly, inexpensive Toshiba PDR-M25.

It was nice while it lasted

We purchased this camera approximately three years ago. For the technology available at that time, this was a pretty decent find. The picture quality was good compared to the options available in 2002, although the colors were typically too dark. We ...

Good (but not great) quality pictures.

Maybe not this one

I purchased my Toshiba PDR M-25 mainly because of the features for the price. I wanted an optical zoom and a high enough resolution picture to print well. The Toshiba seemed to fit the bill.

Price, optical zoom, bright outdoor photos.

Delay after snapping photo, poor low light photos

I picked this up because of it's price, compact size and optic zoom. I'm returning it because of its incredibly poor picture quality - in EVERY resolution. There's just NO vibrancy in the pictures. The low light setting comes close, but you can do...
