Works well, but when it stops working, you're stuck.

 

I bought the PDR-M71 a few years ago with some prize money from a contest. It was a good camera for its time, although it was really expensive ($400 on sale + memory & a USB card). The camera is pretty rugged, and stood up to a few falls. It takes ...

Physically durable. Good grip. Media is cheap. Uses AA batteries. Decent pictures.

Included software is pathetic. No OS X drivers. Support is virtually nonexistent. Uses AAs. Pricey.

Great feel, great pictures and quality, great bundled kit, and reputation!!
