Relatively low price

High levels of fringing, Noisy shots, Poor colour balance, Some under sharpening

The UDC-7M performed poorly in almost all of our tests, producing noisy, soft shots that had noticeable haloing. We'd recommend you steer clear of this unit if you're after a compact camera.

The UDC-7M is an entry level snapshooter that offers ease of use and long battery life for a low price, but is let down by sub par photo quality.

Affordable ; Simple operation ; Good battery life

Cheap build quality ; Poor image quality ; No included accessories

As Uniden's first foray into the digital camera space, the UDC-7M could be worse. Good features and easy operation for a low price make it seem like a good deal, but until the image quality issues are ironed out, there are better offerings out there...

Have one got it as a bonus with some other stuff. I find Iuse thos one more than my kodak as it is sturdy and compact. Mine isn't plstic though so maybe it has been changed at some point? Battery life is fine for us and having itd own rechargeable...
