Kodak EasyShare M820 Digital Frame review: Kodak EasyShare M820 Digital Frame

Kodak EasyShare M820 Digital Frame

Affordable; touch-panel navigation; choice of customizable borders (red, silver are included); respectable image quality; support for video and MP3 playback; accepts virtually all memory card types, as well as USB storage devices.

Frame is plastic; no remote included; middling performance.

Kodak 8-inch EasyShare M820 represents a good balance between affordability, features, and decent image quality in an amply sized photo frame.

Kodak EasyShare W820 Wireless Digital Frame

The Kodak's EasyShare W820 is better-looking than the photos it frames.

Attractive mat design. Wi-Fi. Antiglare screen.

Inconsistent image quality. Advertisements with partner-supplied content. Scaling issues with some content.

The ability to select your desired option directly is a nice, er, touch, but the Quick Touch Border isn't as responsive and accurate as it should be. The W820 is the only frame I tested that doesn't include a remote control—a serious oversight for a...

Review: Kodak EasyShare W820 Digital Picture Frame

Until not so long ago, if you had asked most people what Kodak made they probably would have told you “film.” In a market as full of newcomers as imaging is, Kodak is an old hand. They've been making stuff for picture taking for more than a century...

Innovative touch interface and clear menus work flawlessly ; Great web content integration from Flickr and FrameChannel ; Wi-Fi connectivity is easy to configure ; Weplaceable mats and frames to match any decor

No color/contrast controls for display ; RSS feeds work intermittently ; Have to install Kodak’s software to configure the frame's web content

The W820 is not without its quirks, but Kodak has definitely come up with a winning formula with the W820. The amount of content you can get from the web on this frame using its WiFi connection, and the ease with which you can do it, really make the...

Kodak W820

The wifi connection through internet to flickr.com is an unbeatable feature. I bought one for my mum (who can just about operate the TV). All she has to do is turn it on and the grandchildren around the world upload pictures to flickr that magically...

Scrolling keaybord is slow to use on the odd occasion that you have to use it. Quality control: prolems with the touch frame. I had to return two units to the shop before I managed to get two that worked properly

Easy to set up. Bought for elderly grandparents who seem to be able to work it too. I'm tempted to buy another for myself! It comes with different colour attachable surrounds which explains the different colours seen on different adverts; this was not...
