Philips 9FF2M4 Digital Photo Frame

This sleekly styled Philips digital photo frame has a bright, high-resolution 8-inch-diagonal display, slots for most types of memory cards, and a rechargeable battery that allows you to place the unit on a shelf or a table without plugging it in to...

The frame's a bit pricey, and there's no support for video playback.

Despite a few minor shortcomings, Philips's 9FF2M4 digital photo frame offers impressive image quality and a strong feature set that put it near the top of the digital photo frame class.

Philips 9FF2M4 Digital Photo Frame

Nice colour, Lots of options, Interchangeable frames

Had problems displaying fine image details, Clunky interface

Even though it's one of the better digital photo frames on the market, the Philips 9FF2M4 still isn't the perfect replacement for a traditional photo frame, but it offers a decent alternative if you want to try something new.

The size is not as advertised

Philips sells good products and does not need to use less than honest methods to sell their products.

Very nice picture quality and fairly easy to use

This is advertised as a 9 inch frame...but the actual picture size is 8 inches. ALL photo frames are sold based upon the size of the picture NOT the plastic frame. This is plain old consumer fraud

Best in the market

May be too expensive for some people, but you pay for what you get. These frames are very well made, well balanced and can be used without the plug up-to 45Min as the unit works on nicad batteries. The frames themselves are very sleek (mac like)and...

If you want the best frame out there buy the Philips. I have the 9" and 7" which work great. Setup is extrmely easy, just make sure to get a USB multi-plus card reader so you can put all pics on SD or Mini SD cards. Great Great Pictures with Auto...

No video files, so buy the Kodak with remote

Read the user guide?

My 9" Philips frame has auto on/off ... just look in the settings. You can even configure multiple time slots per day.

Excellent picture resolution, auto rotates based on how its standing on the table

I wish in the manual they would clearly state what the optimal picture size needs to be to work with the device so that no cropping or scaling ocurrs when copying from card to internal memory

Not great

Easy to set up, relatively easy to navigate through the menu's, but I really wanted it to auto on and off. When you set it, it just stays on till you turn it off, when you turn it off, it stays off.

Pictures look great, transitions are awesome

I had 3 different CF cards, 2 different SD cards- Would not read pictures from the San*isk cards! It would SEE the card but not the pix ; The auto timer does not work, one of the reasons I bought it
