Consumer review (newegg.com)

Basic is an understatement.

Other reviewers labelled this as "a good entry level frame." That's being a little too nice, don't you think? I'm all for sticking up for a company when they do something great but from what I'm reading about this frame this is just shoddy...

Does what it's supposed to; read photos off a flash card and look pretty

Doesn't read USB sticks. Some of the menus are a joke because you can only change one option. Menus freeze/lockup if you press too many buttons at once, screen is pretty low-res. I expected better from a company known for their monitors. Again, the...

ViewSonic VFA724W-10 7" Cherry Wood 480x234 Digital Photo Frame Magic 4-splits random picture rotation, slideshow shuffle

Got this when it was on sale. It was worth the price I paid. The cherry wood frame is nice

The screen is not the best. Since it is a small screen, people tend to look closely at it and the pictures and you can easily see the pixels

Poor build quality

Product to be returned.

It has a screen and shows pictures

Several reviews mention the high-pitch buzz. This is unacceptable and seems to be related to a poor quality transformer winding ; Further, on my particular device, the settings menu will not allow you to advance past the Brightness setting. Contrast...

Good quality

Good frame for the money.

Looks nice, works great, plug and play makes it easy. Very nice image quality, picked up 2 of these for christmas presents, neither of the people I gave them to complained about them at all. Priced right to, remember the days when you paid 80 bucks for...

Cant really think of any

Decent for Price

For the price this made a nice Christmas gift

No internal memory so you need to get a SD Card if you want to use it

The Frame is Okay

It's got a really nice wooden cherry frame

The resolution is low but I was expecting that. What I wasn't expecting was this high pitch buzzing noise that is driving my dog crazy, so I'm going to have to return it

Good for the price

I got this for my wife as a gift and she loves it... Just format your pictures and plug in your memory device and let it do its thing. The noise isn't so bad that you'll notice it unless you are sitting in a very silent room and are within about 3 feet...

Pics look pretty good ; USB/SD ; Wood frame looks very nice and not cheap like some plastic more expensive models

Hi pitch noise when its on- using USB. Menu it very difficult to navigate and slow. I have to turn off unit to reset it, it gets stuck on some of the menu selections and I can't get back out

GREAT!

Very good for 30$ shipped! Is not as advanced as more expensive units but if you have some pictures that you want to show without getting them printed this is IDEAL

Great finish ; Bright Lcd ; Accepts Sd,Usb and Sony Memory Cards ; CHEAP 30

High Pitch buzzing noise

Noisy

Considering the price I paid, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular and that's exactly what I got. The appearance is nice, but quality reflects the price.

Very inexpensive... I ordered two. Good enough color display. Plug in a SD card or Flash Drive and it starts playing instantly - no fussing around

Large pixels... but it's cheap. High pitched noise emanates when plugged in... very annoying - hopefully that goes away with time

Good for the price

It is a nice looking frame if you don't mind the cons. For the price it's not that bad. I always thought Viewsonic was better quality than this (at least their screens/monitors?). Personally, I would spend a little more for a better digital frame.

good price ; nice wooden frame

low resolution screen (as noted in specs) but the picture quality looks decent when viewed from a meter or so. Don't expect HD quality ; Kick stand can be extended, but it is very difficult to do. For awhile I did not think it was designed to extend ;...
