Not bad

I replaced the HDD inside with a 2TB and it works flawlessly.

Coming up on 2 years and it still works ; It has almost every port you could need ; Supports most file types including .MKV and .m2ts which are the ones I was looking for

The GUI (Graphical User Interface) is rubbish. It functions fine but is really cheaply designed ; There are several buttons on the remote that do nothing

BRING IT BACK!

I own a WD media Hub, and this blows it out of the water... I rather use my argosy than the WD hub. Please bring it back, I love the option they had that you could only by the case without any hard drive.

Fast, from HDD or from network. even 1080P ; easy and simple design

uptades can only be made with an usb drive

Great Product

Why more people do not own these is beyond me. This thing has been a life saver with the kids. My daughter is 6 and she can easily grab the remote and watch any of her movies without ever touching anything but the remote. It rocks!

This is a great player. It plays everything I can throw at it. While slow over home network connection, I can transfer files to it without any issues or errors. If the wait time is too much for you, just hook it straight to a pc though the USB port, it...

1. slight delay in sound at beginning of songs if going through the optical audio port to my stereo ; 2. Slow ethernet port - (really not an issue for me though)

Great player but has limited playback options

I have used this in all of my builds in the past couple of years, including builds for family and friends, and none of us have ever had any problems with this drive. It also reads and burns relatively fast. If you just want a basic cd/dvd drive and...

Plays just about everything. There were some files that couldn't play but I'll have to look into that to see if they were corrupted. Plenty of space

The menu and playback options are limited. Menu wise, unless you start to have tons of folders and subfolders, be prepared to hold that down arrow alot ; The playback options are non existent. No playlist creation or random play selection. I really...

Argosy 2TB USB 2.0 / Ethernet Multimedia HD TV Full 1080P Media Player w/ 2TB HDD pre-installed HV335T-0020T

has played everything i've tried so far. Size and speed is great. a very capable unit. thinking of mounting in minivan

only thing that has bothered me is fast forwarding is only one speed. If i stop a movie and come back to it it will take 10 min to get to the middle. I can live with that for the storage, capability and price. :-)

Good for the price

If you want something to play the multitudes of various media files that you have collected or downloaded this device has done the job for me without any problem. Try and get a quiet hard drive to put in it. The HD speed is not really important for...

It plays almost any file that I throw at it. If it plays using vlc it plays on the Argosy ; Plays all the music files that I have given it, including flac, and works well with my stereo ; The interface is easy enough to figure out ; I don't know if it...

The interface is bit clunky ; It orders songs by title not by tags, so you need the track number in the beginning of the filename ; The blue light stays on even when you switch it off. So there is no way to see if the device is on or off ; There is...

Can be better

This player is a good player, but it is so annoying to use that the old ASUS HDP-R1 will remain my primary player. 1. Drama episodes are recorded with volume level differences, not being able to adjust the level with the remote is like having the gas...

Cheap, feature rich, internal hard drive support and wireless support with USB dongle

No volume control on remote ; Not so intuitive and way over simplified remote ; No time skip ; Cosmetic internet TV support ; Not so quiet fan

Worked great for a year

The unit was pretty good while it lasted, though I do not think it is as good as my WD HDTV Plus. Can't get it to boot anymore, so I will replace it with another WD box.

Lots of functionality, can take an onboard hard drive, wireless capability

Died after 13 months. Will no longer boot, even when trying to update firmware. Has ugly menus and network setup (especially wireless) is clunky

Desperately Needs a SCREENSAVER

Own several brands of these to compare; 1. The Argosy HV335T. 2. WDTV Live Hub (Western Digital) 3. Netgear NeoTV550 * Not sure if it plays BD ISO (Menu's, haven't tested yet) - WDTV Live hub does not, NeoTV does. * Completely dig the fact that the...

Pros ; Plays almost all (standardized) formats ; Fairly Decent (straight-forward & responsive) user interface ; Wired Network (always a huge plus IMO) ; Optical audio out (to run secondary HD audio to A/V receiver Onkyo 608) ; 3.5 internal HD (not...

SCREENSAVER - This unit absolutely needs a screen saver! - Don't ever let anyone fool you that LCD TV's are not susceptible to screen burn and permanent impressions, (We're just about ready to ditch one of our 47" LCD TV's because it has permanent...

Great media player

Play back on 1080p is perfect. It's great not to have to load DVD or Blu-ray each time I want to change movies

I have had great success with all the media I have loaded on the player which include .iso for my large video files. I have loaded with no problem files up to 50 GB. I am using XP for my operating system. I get about 3 GB pm on USB 2. I am ordering my...

I had some sound glitches on my large video files playback which were cured with the updated firm ware from agrosy. It's a bit of a pain to move the player from my entertainment area to the computer for updating. The network is too slow. Thought I...
