Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

Terrible

Not worth the hype one gets from Philips. They need to get back to making and marketing reliable products. What is more the product does even appear on any of the Philips websites (local or international). A real disappointment. Don't buy this product...

Terrible

NOT HAPPY JAN! I have had it back to the store once already and it is now out of warranty so I don't like my chances of getting it repaired. So I am out of pocket and down a recorder!

Nice looking unit, excellent picture.

I now have the same problem as a fellow reviewer. 1 month out of warranty and my player will not read blank discs for recording. FF start is clumsy and it does have a habit of turning itself off or not turning on at all.

Bad

It's an easy and cheap way of recording straight from TV but due to the issues listed above (which seem to be common) I wouldn't recommend it.

cheap alternative to hard disk recorder USB port

It can no longer read blank DVD's when trying to record (Happened from 6 months) There is approx 2-3 delay when buttons are pressed to play/record etc Randomly turns off
