It is quite a noisy machine, though, and you do have to clean the filter frequently. Some of the cycle times can also be quite long, which is a pain for when you have lots of clothes that need drying after each other.

Satisfactory drying results - quick to dry cotton load. Very easy to select programmes and options. Fascia very simple and logical. Excellent instructions. Bad points: Small port hole. Flimsy filter. Cotton load badly creased after drying

Looks great, sensor reduces drying time dramatically, not too noisy, excellent value for money compared to condenser models.

Having read the instructions (for once!) The cycles are very easy to understand and set. (There are a few) Once programmed just forget it and let it do it's thing. It is so quiet when on we can still hold a conversation without sign language, even on...

Maybe the instructions could be easier to understand eh Hotpoint? They could have easily be written on just one page.
