Scary Movie

Peter Pan (2003)

I watched this movie again after a number of years since first seeing it andI have to admit it still holds up as much today as it did in 2003, in fact onecould almost say this is quite the definitive version of Peter Pan with a storythat flows from...

Appaloosa (Blu-ray)

I think Westerns are an aquired taste, but I loved 3:10 To Yuma and Seraphim Falls. So looking at the cast of this film, I expected another good film. Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen are both quality actors. This just rumbles along so slowly and there...

Sahara (2005)

I read the novel to this film and the book was quite good, however when I watched the film I was very dissapointed. The standard of the acting is weak and the annoying catchphrase the sidekicks says "Hi, how are ya?" makes you cringe every single time...

Panasonic DVD-LS850 Portable DVD Player with 8.5" Diagonal Widescreen LCD...

This model's lightweight, and the includes extras are nice. But Panasonic makes several models with larger screens and longer batteries, for not much more weight and (at times) a lower price. We bit the 10" with an 11-hour battery, and have loved it.

Kenwood DV 605

I really enjoy this DVD player. It was packed very well, and once I got connected to my components it played superbly. I didn't receive any instructions but that was no real problem. I chose Kenwood, since the early 80s and haven't had any problems....

LiteOn PhoMaster LVD-2001

My previous dvd (an Apex AD1500) broke down mechanically and I needed to replace it. It had to do everything the apex did. It does and more. The first thing I tried was to burn a CD with an XviD file (mpeg-4) and stick it in: IT WORKS! (as advertised)....

SANYO HV-DX2 COMBO DVD PLAYER AND VCR PLAYER

Ideal for what I required. After the children went all modern (nothing wrong in that) it left me with a lot of tapes of their school days, and growing up. I can now transfer onto disc. Although a recon. unit it functions as new. All round a good buy!
