A great HD tuner and DVD player

 

I recently bought a Philips 30PW8420 HD-ready widescreen TV. HD-ready means it has no internal HD tuner. So, to get the most out of this TV I needed what's commonly called an STB, or set-top box. The LG LST-3510A filled the bill. I bought mine on eBay ...

Multiple resolutions, built-in DVD player, phenomenal reception with only an antenna.

Convenient single DVI-D output for both sources. HDTV and upscaled DVD work great.

Would have liked lighted buttons on remote.
