Very good quality picture and resumes to the last scene if the power is off. The internal battery is great as the kids can continue watching them once the car is turned off - gives me time to bring the shopping in without them under my feet!

The brackets are quite awkward to attach to the back of the headrests in one of my cars but once it is on it stays there.

I expected more from Philips

 

I like Philips... most of my house has Philips technology... However these dvd players really let them down. The stansion mounts make the screens bounce up and down has you drive... thus making you feel sick ! Try watching something as it judders up...

Be careful they do not fit all car headrests

 

Great portable players (they have a great picture, neat size for children, and restart where they were switched off ) BUT they do not fit onto our Volvo car headrests (xc90) so the child must hold onto them for the whole journey.

Good Build Quality, Poor Design

 

I bought these after several Bush units that only lasted a couple of plays before keeling over. The build quality is superb, but the detail design is hopelessly flawed:-

So far so good!

 

These DVD players seem very good a little more expensive but seem to be worth the money , I've had several of these in cheaper makes (bush sorry!) and they don't last , these are well made better quality and I've had no probs so far, I used them...

A friend recommended this DVD system to us. Its fantastic. The kids love it. Its very easy to fit and operate. The best feature, which lots of other systems don't have, is that when you turn the car engine off and then back on, the DVD players remeber...

GREAT PRODUCT

 

REALY PLEASED , GOOD VOLUME FOR IN CAR AND SAVES ANY PROBLEMS AS THEY CAN WATCH THE SAME OR DIFFERENT FILMS ALSO IT IS NOT EASY FOR THE KIDS TO TAKE OUT THE DVD - A PROBLEM THAT WE HAD WITH THE LAST MACHINES WHEN THEY PLAYED WITH THE BUTTONS .
