Looks the part and is really quiet in operation.

The display panel on the front of the machine is rather uninformative. One or two of the buttons on the remote handset are not as described or referred to in the handbook, which can be confusing when trying to use features for the first time!

Incredibly easy to use. Excellent functionality.

Design a bit chunky, could be smaller and sleeker. Remote control too. Takes a while to start up.

Seems relatively easy to use although I have only tried direct dubbing from video to dvd as yet. I suspect based on how easy that is, plugging in my camcorder and recording from that should be ok too. The editing looks a little complicated but to be...

It seems to take a while to respond to the remote and even pressing buttons on the recorder doesn't make it react any quicker. Only a small point but a tad annoying as most things respond immediately these days!
