RjTECH RJ-2200DVRX DVD Recorder with Removable HDD

The RJ-22000DVRX is a great "concept" product. I love the fact that it has a swappable 250q hard drive and it can record DVD-RW. The menus were easy for my aging mother to learn. The recorded TV shows were very crisp and clear on standard settings

Timed recordings dont start when they should. I had to guess when they might start recording. It lasted less than 2 months. the hard drive area gets super duper hot. Contacting RJtech for support was difficult at best

Lightweight, Inexpensive, Realitively Easy To Use, Timeshifting 1-3 hour buffer.

The area containing the harddrive gets hot quickly.

Timed Recording icon on bottom of the screen is impossible to turn off and will burn my screen if i keep using the DVD player.
