The whole unit worked great in the beginning. The DVD player and recorder has always worked fine.

it still works interface is ok not as expensive as the lg that died a early death

programing can be alittle tough some times and u have to turn off the timer before you can take out the dvd just to watch a dvd and just dont forget to turn on the timer after you put the rdvd-r back in or it not record this is all what my wife told me

The UI is very responsive and simple to use. We have plenty of VHS/input devices we need to backup. My girlfriend is taking right to it. If you can use a VCR you can use this! I have used the component inputs, and the RCA inputs, and they both work...

It was more than I wanted to spend, but I went for it. Worth it. The only way this could be better is if they added wireless or RJ-45 port for internet connectivity. Being able to control this device remotely would be the bee's knees, legs, and arms.
