This is junk. They break so easily. Don't waste your money. On my second set of these. The first set was sent back after a spoon broke the first time it was used and now it's happening again.

There's a piece missing that engages the safety lock switch on the base (looks like a little spring-loaded plunger). Without this piece the base won't turn on. In case you don't understand, to summarize this piece is useless.
