I've had this freezer for nearly five years now and not had a hint of bother with it. It doesn't seem to accumulate much ice either; I don't recall having had to defrost it at all. Very happy with it.

Size, design and qulity suit all my needs, I cannot comment on the energy consumption as I would not know how this is measured, except from what the manufacturer tells me.however the rest I can recommend through using the appliance.
