Garmin StreetPilot 7200 review: Garmin StreetPilot 7200

Garmin StreetPilot 7200 According to Garmin, the StreetPilot 7200 is designed for use in large vehicles such as buses, RVs, and semis, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have to drive a big rig to take advantage of this awesome GPS/entertainment...

The Garmin StreetPilot 7200 has an accurate GPS receiver and a large, daylight-readable touch screen. It also offers optional traffic and weather information, as well as an XM radio antenna.

Large and heavy, the Garmin StreetPilot 7200 is very expensive, and you have to pay extra for the traffic and weather data. Also, the traffic alerts could be more accurate.

The Garmin StreetPilot 7200 is ideal for drivers who want the latest in portable vehicle navigation, but be prepared to shell out a sizable chunk of money for this multifunction GPS system.

Garmin StreetPilot 7200

If you want a portable navigation system with a 7-inch screen, the Garmin StreetPilot 7200 is for you.

Excellent, highly readable 7-inch screen. Well-integrated XM Satellite Radio, weather and traffic data.

Remote control takes a lot of key presses to navigate key functions. Large screen drives up the price.

Garmin StreetPilot 7200 Review

So what distinguishes this unit from those above and below it? The primary difference between it and the StreetPilot 2730 is the big screen on the 7200. Step up to the StreetPilot 7500 and you'll get a a dead-reckoning feature that allows drivers to...

Finally, I have the big screen

I've been using GPS since there's been GPS and have always wanted a larger display for my car. Garmin already makes terrific large displays for boats and airplanes I've used for years. I like a large display do I can see more detail over a larger area....

Big, big, display, touch screen, XM tuner, excellent Garmin support staff

Hard to use custom screens, low resolution maps at close in settings

Easy-to-use GPS

Large screen ; explicitly accurate ; easy to use, especially for computer novices

Wish it came with a better mounting bracket because my dashboard is not level. Not able to find a universal mount that would support it

probably went overboard

If I had it to do over again I would not buy such an expensive unit.I have a tom tom one xl that I really like except for the screen size.

has a large screen and can easily add a dvd player to it after you buy a dvd player and a $ 30. dollar cable

Unit is so big and heavy the mounting system seems to be too light weight for the unit. unit shakes on bumpy roads. Full screen display is not utilized because of speed, direction take up about one inch of the screen
