Garmin eTrex 10 2.2" Portable GPS

Tested it when arrived..good to go out of the box. Will use it more weekend of 3/12 while working on Ozark trail maintence. Looking forward to using it on the trail

I use this for geocaching. Caches can be upaded directly from the website, which automatically gives you coords, description, logs, and hints.

My son loved having his own GPS. Now, he can actually scout his own hunting spots and not get lost.

The eTrec 10 was not what I expected. The world wide base map is a joke. It shows the outline of Countries and in the US the borders of states with some large cities located. there is no TOPO (road or lakes) shown and therefore no visual reference...

I retuned it because it was to hard for me to catch on to . I had an old Garmin that was simple to work . Maybe this one was too if I could of just got it figured out. Received my purchase promptly and was no problem to return
