GPS sport watch for serious athletes

Reviewers say the Garmin Forerunner 410 is a good GPS sport watch for serious athletes or anyone who wants loads of training features. Not only does it track pace, distance and heart rate, but it also includes a Virtual Partner, wireless data upload,...

Garmin Forerunner 410

The Garmin Forerunner 410 is a GPS sportswatch for runners that updates the Forerunner 405 and 405CX with a second-generation touch bezel that works better under sweaty conditions. It's the top of the line runners watch from Garmin, at least in terms...

NOTE that the Garmin Forerunner 410 is sold in versions with and without a heart rate monitor.

Garmin Forerunner 410

Garmin's most advanced GPS sport watch to date combines fitness and technology to help you get the most out of your training.

Numerous features ; Customisable display ; Well designed

Buggy online software ; Controls too sensitive ; Expensive

The watch is light at 60 grams - 3g less than a G-Shock classic - and the 1.06 inch, four-level grey FSTN LCD screen is clear to read with a resolution of 124 x 95 pixels and excellent viewing angles - a must for a sports watch. Garmin has avoided the...

Tracking your speed, distance, elevation and much more with ease. I run a lot in the mountains and have had no break in reception to date. Wireless uploading is pretty cool as well. Love this watch

Nice but one problem

Nice running watch. Sleek design, many functions, but the battery life is pitiful. Did my first full with the 410 and the battery lasted 3hrs and 45minutes. The battery won't even last a full marathon unless your an elite runner. This was at a full...

Extreme

I've owned the forerunner 205 and the 305 previously. They were very simple to learn. The 410 has many menu's to get into to set the watch up. At times it can be confusing. Called Garmin on a couple of questions. They were quick to respond. Heard...

Many features, quick connect to the satellites, decent battery life, nice look to it. Great support from Garmin

Can be confusing at first. Poor manual

Garmin Forerunner 410 Handheld GPS Navigator

Bought this as a gift for my daughter that runs cross country/track for a small DIII college and this watch has made practices more fun. Her teammates don't like it, however, because they can't cut the runs short anymore because the watch knows when...

Works, but Hard to Setup

Had a hard time getting thru start-up screens. Would not go to next screen, just beeped. Also getting it to sync for first time was not easy. But has worked fine since. Great info after your run on the Garmin website.

Good running/biking watch

I used a phone app previously to track my runs and that was good until I wanted to monitor my pace while running. This watch is exactly what I needed. It conveniently tracks my pace as well as a bunch of other stuff.
