Magellan Maestro 3200

Magellan's old-school product brings simplicity to the GPS uninitiated.

Magellan Maestro 3200, 3210, 3220, 3250 Car GPS Navigators Review

The Maestro 3200 models all have a 3.5in touch screen displayed navigation menus which allow destinations to be entered by text or selection of a POI (point of interest). Both 2D and 3D map views are available for onscreen navigation directions. The...

Magellan Maestro 3200 review

Step up to the Maestro 3210 and you'll get maps of Alaska and Canada, six million POIs, and AAA TourBook info.

So-so GPS

As far as fat fingering goes, you could try using a Nintendo DS stylus, works pretty well with this device. I bought three of them when I purchased this unit in fear of fat fingering. Night time being too dim? I believe that can be adjusted in the...

This was my first GPS. was nice, interface is easy to use and understand. It never left my side when I was behind the wheel of a car. It even recalculates the route for you automatically if you steer off course

Lagged in plenty of places, specifically the disclaimer screen, browsing menus, moving the map with your finger, making a new entry in the address book, entering and calculating routes and when re-calculating routes. Cord was so-so, and easily broken....

MAGELLAN Maestro 3200 3.5" GPS Navigation

Horrible nightmare of a hardware. Now I know why people go for higher end, faster more competent devices. Stay away, far away - it will make trips to new places a scream fest.

Looks nice and "relatively" easy to use... other than that

Utter piece of crp. In 1 week of continuous usage, this thing has froze on me 3 times and given me countless wrong/bad directions. The turn warning chime can't be customized and sounds RIGHT before you need to turn causing lots of reroutes. Rerouting...

Poor interface

I was on a road trip when I broke the screen on my brand "G" GPS unit. Stopped at the nearest store to buy whatever was available, figured Magellan was a well-known brand so I couldn't go too wrong. Boy was that a mistake! My original unit, in the same...

If this is the only GPS unit you've ever used, you'll probably love it. But others are better. One interesting feature of this unit is the ability to set up a list of destinations in advance. But woe unto you if you should want to modify your route...

My biggest complaint is that you can't browse the POI database while you are navigating. You have to cancel navigation, find the POI you want, then go through the navigation menus again (which are quite cumbersome). It offers "Exit POIs" but this...

Great Buy!!!

After purchasing this, I'm buying one for my age 60+ parents. The user interface is extremely simplistic!

I originally was using my Moto Q9c for navigation but you can't even compare the 2. This is my 1st GPS and I was amazed on how fast it updates and how accurate it was with directions. Sometimes roads will get confusing with many highway exits at once...

Not as many features as others but for the price you can't beat it. Shoppers may want to consider the slightly higher models for more POI or memory. I'm satisfied with what it has

Works well

I have fat fingered a few addresses but it has been easy to adjust my original inputs. Just be weary if you have big fingers about possible errors. Overall I enjoy it alot.

I have had a pretty good experience with this GPS. It finds locations easily ; Provides good directions to the places I am going ; Has been quite adjustable to what I needed and is easy to adjust. The map has been quite helpful to find places I didn't...

No Computer connection cable (although it isn't needed). Sometimes the ""go back"" button is unresponsive (located in the lowermost outer-left corner) but that is possible to my fat fingers not pressing in the location where the sensor could...

Great

I like the 'chimes' it gives when you're supposed to turn, rather than the voice prompt. It's more exact, and less of that 100ft, 50ft, then 10ft to turn, (just turn comming up, then chimes to turn).

Works Great, Very little to no thinking involved here. If you've ever operated a GPS before, this one is almost too simple to use

None so far

MAGELLAN Maestro 3200 3.5" GPS Navigation

I would suggest if you wrap the power cable around the units base for storage, don't leave the USB plugged into the power port of the unit, I think thats what made mine break.

This thing is overall great. I work for a private ambulance company that transports patients to and from their residence all through out Ohio and the surrounding states. It does great, even in the rural areas where I would have never expected it to. I...

Every so often it will get "flustered" and send you a few miles down the highway, only to turn you around at an exit and have you head the opposite way towards the way you came on the highway, then have you exit on an exit you had already past....
