ACURATE, FAST PLOTTING, CHEAP

 

I loved it so much I'm buying another - this time a Sportrak Pro so I can download maps. Try www.totalgps.co.uk for a GPS + Memory Map bundle. No substitute for a compass and OS - you must be able to use these as well otherwise any GPS can get you into...

Can't lose it (but see weaknesses) cause it's yellow. Fast plotting to 3m acuracy. Sturdy & waterproof. Everyone has a Garmin - be different

I lost it! Fell off my hip belt - whoever found it 'give it back' just follow the 'home' landmark! Had to import a carry case from the US as you can't buy them in the UK. Instructions not the easiest to follow (on supplied CD), but OK after playing...

A basic, value for money GPS for all uses

 

I've had mine a couple of months now and I'm very happy with it. It's easy to use and the large screen is easier for my aging eyes to read!

Larger display than most ; waterproof ; Easy to use

Eats AA batteries if you use the back light too often - carry spares ; LCD screen can be hard to read in strong sun light
