I love the merchandise. With its embedded destination information, it is easy to use. I never have gotten lost with it and can go to almost every store I need to go to.

As several others have mentioned in other reviews, the Q4 on the box doesn't mean it is a Q4. There may be a Q4-04 (not the same) or a 43NT in there. And those models may have older map cards. The Q4 has upgradeable maps... (see the Nextar website) so...

Nextar makes and older and a newer unit, with different options. There's no way to tell if ordering an old or newer unit and if options you want are included., until you get serial#.

Office Max advertised Q4 model but shipped Q4 series NT43 model. Display color is not sharp and distance off by few hundred feets. It does not shows how fast you are going.

The Nextar Q4 GPS is a great starter GPS. Sure, it may not have all of the features of a Garmin or TomTom but I don't have any real complaints about this thing that I wouldn't have about an introductory model from the other companies.
