Needs wide open space to register location quickly. Sometimes has difficulty in built up areas. Having said that, other cameras I\'ve used in the past with GPS built in had the same problem. Price is too high but unit is very useful for travellers.

Easy to use, acquires GPS coordinates quickly. Very useful when travelling, recently used in Namibia where it worked perfectly. Well designed product.

It is very quick to lock on to the signal and had been very accurate except in front of the Nikon school premises in London. It kept showing the next street up.

It works well but as with any GPS device sometimes it takes a while to pick up a GPS signal. You just plug it in and go.

Nikon really should have been integrating GPS into their DSLRs long before now. This is a very expensive accessory that is only marginally better value than the grossly overpriced MC-35 GPS Adapter cable that I used to use with a separate handheld GPS....
