Pharos GPS Phone 600e

The Pharos GPS Phone 600e features a slim design and integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It also has a 2-megapixel camera and an FM radio.

The 600e is expensive and doesn't come with navigation software. Call quality was also subpar.

The Pharos GPS Phone 600e isn't a horrible smart phone, but the lack of navigation software and subpar call quality detracts from its overall appeal. Plus, you can get more for your money with other GPS-enabled smart phones.

Pharos GPS Phone 600 Review

The Pharos GPS Phone 600 is equipped much like other Wi-Fi enabled Pocket PC phones, but with GPS capabilities added. Brighthand's chief reviewer brings us this hands-on report.

Strong internal GPS ; 2 GB microSD card ; Appealing form factor

Marginal hardware controls ; Expensive ; microSD slot

I might not buy it as a first-line phone, but for combining ultra-reliable GPS location and navigation with a certain amount of voice and data connectivity, I can certainly see the appeal in the Pharos.
