Renault Clio GT 1.6 VVT 128

The Renault Clio GT seems to have all the right boxes ticked, even a factory fitted TomTom.

As the name suggests, the Clio GT 128 pumps out 128bhp from its 1.6L petrol engine. This doesn't make it super-quick, but if you keep the revs high, you can motor along at a brisk pace. On the plus side, the chassis just loves to be pushed hard and...

Renault Clio 1.5 dCi Expression

Two Clio road tests quite close together isn't a case of over-egging the pudding, because the previous report was on a three-door petrol-engined Dynamique, while this is a five-door (and better looking) Expression with the very latest common rail turbo...

I'm quite sure that small-capacity diesels will really take on, once people realise what advantages they offer, and here we have Renault leading the field. If you don't object to the looks of the three-door, it costs £500 less.

Renault Clio 1.5 dCi 65 Dynamique 3d Hatchback review

Despite styling changes to the bring the Clio into line with the rest of the Renault family, it retains the classless character of the two previous models. The engine choice offers some of the most frugal engines around, while the 172 is a genuine hot...
