TomTom Start2 Sat-Nav

TomTom's entry-level model gets its second incarnation just four months after its original manifestation. So what's new?

TomTom Start2 review

TomTom's entry level sat nav gets premium features

Simple interface ; Easy to operate ; Pocket sized ; Strong suction pad ; Fantastic maps and reliable navigation

Inaccurate touchscreen ; Free roaming map browsing useless ; More available for the money ; Limited features for more experienced users

Buying a sat nav which won't break the bank means you risk getting hopelessly lost at the hands of shoddy equipment, but the new TomTom Start2 aims to bring fully featured satellite navigation to those with the most meagre of budgets.

It may be an entry-level sat-nav in terms of features, although at this price it's definitely not a budget choice. But those who want a simple product for no-fuss navigation will find it fits the bill perfectly, and the new features make it even more...

TomTom Start² UK

Would have been all good, if I didn't have to buy another charger!

In-car charger stopped working after 3 journeys and we had to buy another as we weren't near home!
