With a huge number of features for the money, Amazon's $130 Echo Buds are one of the best values in a set of true wireless earbuds. Here's our full review.

Comfortable, secure fit ; Excellent sound ; Very effective noise reduction ; Hands-free Alexa ; Built-in Tile tracking

So-so battery life ; Limited set of earbud controls ; No wireless charging

Echo Buds review: Alexa smarts packed into a mediocre AirPods rival

Amazon got some things right with its AirPod rival. Hands-free Alexa is great for voice control and works well. But, the sound quality is decent at best, the touch controls are limited and battery life is less than what the competition offers in 2019....

Hands-free Alexa works well ; Affordable price ; Customization

Battery life ; Limited touch controls ; Mediocre sound quality ; micro-USB charging

Amazon Echo Buds (1st Gen) Review

Hands-free Alexa voice control ; Good active noise reduction ; Clear, balanced sound ; Comfortable fit

Somewhat weak lows and highs ; Limited controls ; Not waterproof

Amazon's Echo Buds are wire-free earphones with a lot of functionality for $130, including hands-free Alexa voice control and Bose-tuned active noise reduction.

They lack some pizzazz, but the Echo Buds are likable true wireless earbuds with always-on Alexa and Bose noise reduction.

They lack some pizzazz, but the Echo Buds are likable true wireless earbuds with always-on Alexa and Bose noise reduction.

The Amazon Echo Buds sound good, have hands-free Alexa and Bose noise-reduction technology. They're sweat resistant, fit comfortably and work well for making calls.

In noisier environments, you sometimes can't activate Alexa with your voice. You charge the Buds via Micro-USB instead of USB-C.

The Echo Buds are likable earbuds with always-on Alexa and solid Bose-powered noise reduction -- just consider waiting until they're on sale before buying them.

Amazon Echo Buds review: great sound at the right price

At just $130, the Echo Buds are worth a look even if you never use the Alexa features.

Excellent sound quality ; Good, comfortable fit ; Bose’s noise reduction makes a difference

Micro USB. UGH. ; No wireless charging ; Some early bugs

Amazon’s first truly wireless earbuds, the Echo Buds, exceed expectations with fantastic sound quality and effective Bose noise reduction. At just $130, they’re also priced super aggressively compared to AirPods and other competition.

Amazon’s new Echo Buds are a nice upgrade

It's hard to recall a consumer electronics category that matured quite as quickly as the fully wireless earbuds. Things went from a handful of plucky startups to virtually every hardware manufacturer over the course of a year or two. When Amazon...

Amazon enters familiar territory with new white Echo Buds as AirPods 3 rumors continue

Amazon Echo Buds review

Amazon Echo Buds deliver solid sound quality, active noise reduction and Alexa for less than $130.

Solid audio quality ; Good noise cancellation ; Great Alexa integration

Slightly uncomfortable ; Needs more smart gestures ; Use micro USB instead of USB Type-C

($249), both of which are notably more expensive. But if you want a set of buds that let you take Alexa everywhere while delivering a modicum of peace and quiet at a reasonable price, the Amazon Echo Buds are the only show in town.
