Logitech G Astro Gaming A30 Review

Crisp, clear sound makes vocals and effects stand out ; Plenty of connectivity options, including Bluetooth ; Attractive design

Harsh balance with relatively weak bass ; Middling microphone ; Can put slight pressure on the scalp

The Logitech G Astro Gaming A30 tries to hit a pleasant middle ground among wireless gaming headsets, but it's too expensive for its sound and build quality.

Review: Astro Gaming A30 Headset

Sure they're not gonna raise any roof with audio quality. But what these headphones can do is plug into virtually any device you have.

Optional, plug-in boom microphone plugs into a jack right below the left speaker — why don’t all headsets work this way? Inline microphone for when you’re using your iPhone on the bus. Huge complement of extra cables and connectors. Good, balanced...

Inline controls are limited in utility and confusing to use. No inline volume control. Headset is on the bulky side, especially for street wear. Can be tiring to wear for more than an hour

Logitech G Astro A30 Wireless Gaming Headset Review: The Biggest Problem Is Timing - SlashGear

The Logitech G Astro A30 Wireless Gaming Headset delivers a modern solution for gamers aiming to connect to multiple devices -- but something is missing.

Easy to set up and connect to any compatible device ; Buttons for volume, microphone, and pause/resume play ; Comfortable for extended wear, even with glasses ; Long-lasting battery ; Keeps a solid signal even in separate rooms

Switching back-and-forth between devices becomes tedious ; In-box paperwork only includes basic setup instructions

Review: Astro Gaming A30 surround sound gaming headset

Sound is generally the most overlooked aspect of gaming. We really undervalue how much it adds to the experience just as we overlook how much it can add to our performance while playing. Today's games take advantage of surround sound, but if you don't...

Don't buy it! It's a trap!

Feels like a huge waste of money. It's depressing to know they're trying to sell this thing for over $100. it's more like a kids toy than it is an actual sound device. Never again Astro. Never again. All of my friends bought the A30's and Mixamp, but...

The Headset ; Headset is comfortable on my ears ; Sound quality is acceptable... when not plugged into the mixamp ; The Mixamp ; It has a knobs, they feel nice to turn ; Wires Wires Wires for everything ; The Packaging ; Made me feel special as I...

The Mixamp ; Frustrating to set up. If you're a PC gamer like I am, then you need to make sure your optical out on your computer cooperates with you. I had to fight to make the stupid Mixamp works with my PC, all because it only supports ONE and only...

Nice Features

I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my headset or it's a common thing, but it seems when I mute the headset with the slider and other people are talking they are able to hear themselves from me, Not even sure how that is happening.

Headset is able to be unplugged at every point you would want which is nice if something breaks would be easy to be able to just replace a certain part ; The speakers are able to be rotated 90 degrees so it will stay close to your head/ears at all...

The only problem I have is when I hit the mute button and then let go it does not pick up my voice for about 10 sec after I release the button
