Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC SonicPro High-Resolution HEADPHONES

The Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC are well-built and sturdy headphones with a well-balanced sound. They're comfortable and do not leak much at high volumes. However, they don't block a lot of noise despite being noise canceling headphones, so they're not...

Good audio reproduction. ; Low leakage. ; Sturdy and comfortable.

Poor noise isolation especially for noise canceling headphones. ; Slightly bulky design. ; Bass delivery varies significantly across users. Sensitive to glasses.

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC SonicPro High-Resolution Headphones with Active Noise Cancellation – User Report Review

These new headphones add active noise cancellation to an outstanding and award-winning over-ear model from Audio-Technica. The sound is exceptional in the midrange through the treble, with a tight and accurate bass that supports the primary frequencies...

Gear Review: Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC Headphones - Hi Res Audio Central

If you want a pair of noise cancelling headphones, your choice is much more restricted than the hundreds of quality headphones already out there. If you want noise cancelling headphones that sound great, well, that's even harder. Of the limited range...

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC

The Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC are noise-cancelling headphones, the airplane-ready version of the classic MSR7 pair we reviewed last year.

The same sound quality and comfort we loved in the original MSR7, but the ANC could be better.

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC headphones review: Make some noise

It was 18-months ago that we reviewed the excellent Audio-Technica MSR7 over-ear headphones - and might impressed we were. Now it's the turn of the MSR7NC which, as those additional two letters in the name denote, are the noise-cancelling version....

Excellent natural audio yet enough kick in all frequencies where needed, comfortable to wear for long periods, fairly priced, 30-hour on-board battery, subtle noise-cancelling works well for travel and largely avoids wind "tear"

Not the best-in-class noise-cancelling ability in terms of dramatism, no Bluetooth wireless, simplified mono design compared to originals - some colour accent options would be good

Having used the Audio-Technica MSR7NC headphones for dozens of hours, if not hundreds, we continue to be drawn back to them as our go-to over-ear headphones. The reason is simple: they're comfortable and they sound great - whatever we've thrown at them.

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC review

  (Rating Hidden)

With noise cancelling and Hi-res audio there's not much these over-ear headphones can't do, but this comes at a cost. The headphones aren't cheap and those features will count for nothing if the sound isn't up to scratch. We fitted them to the expert...

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC review: Cancel the noise, not the music

Comfy, great-sounding headphones, but the active noise cancellation isn't as good as the best Bose ‘phones

At this price, these headphones find themselves in very capable company – take a look at our list of the best headphones, and you’ll see that there are no shortage of fantastic options available, not least the Bose QuietComfort 35, which has both...

AUDIO TECHNICA ATH-MSR7NC Noise-Cancelling Headphones - Black

Bought these for a long haul flight, they are my first pair of noise cancelling headphones. I thought they worked pretty well, with a noticeable reduction in cabin noise when the ANC switched on. Comfortable, and they fold flat so are easy to slot into...

Not so far, but I'm no expert on audio quality.

Awesome headphones for metal fans

I will write this review specifically for people who listen to heavy metal and hard rock. I tested literally dozens of famous brand headphones, and the Audio Technica towered above the rest in terms of sound quality (to be honest, there were some...
