Beats Studio Wireless Review

$380 seems a little steep for what you get out of the Studio Wireless, but we're pleased to see Beats head in a positive direction with its re-design.

The Beats by Dre Studio Wireless won’t win the hearts of audiophiles any time soon, but the company did a good thing by taming the bass and presenting a clearer overall sound. Thanks to the Bluetooth streaming process, these headphones manage to keep...

Beats by Dre Studio review

While the new Beats Studio deliver a re-voiced sound as promised, the changes aren't all for the better.

While the new Beats Studio deliver a re-voiced sound as promised, the changes aren’t all for the better. We do appreciate that bass response has been toned down several notches, but there’s sharpness to the midrange and an inconsistency to the treble...

Beats Studio Wireless

The Studio Wireless Bluetooth headphones offer the Beats signature look and sound, along with the Beats premium price.

Powerful audio performance with intense bass and high-mid boosting. Comfortable fit and solid design. Plenty of accessories, including two cables for wired audio playback.

Overpriced compared to competition. Some distortion on deep bass at top volumes. Cannot be used in passive mode.

Conclusion Obviously, if you're looking for a true-to-life, less-sculpted sound signature, the Beats Studio Wireless is not the answer. This is for bass lovers who want the booming lows to be balanced by sculpted high-mids. It's not an accurate sound,...

Beats Studio Wireless: A pricey Bluetooth headphone with premium sound

It may seem overpriced at $380, but the Beats Studio Wireless Over-Ear is an excellent wireless Bluetooth headphone.

The ; is a very comfortable over-the-ear wireless headphone that offers excellent sound for a Bluetooth headphone and features active noise-canceling technology. The headphones fold up into a more compact form factor and battery life is decent at 12...

Expensive; if the integrated rechargeable battery dies, the music dies.

While it'll cost you a hefty $380, the Beats Studio Wireless is an excellent wireless Bluetooth headphone.

Beats by Dr. Dre Studio

The product that started the celebrity-endorsed headphone craze gets an update, but the Beats Studio is still intended for bass lovers and not for audiophiles.

Delivers powerful audio with deep bass and very crisp highs. Quite comfortable. Comes with two detachable cables, one with inline remote control. Rechargeable battery.

Overpriced. Wildly sculpted sound signature not for purists. Can't be used in passive mode. The familiar design is either a draw or a repellent.

PerformanceLet's first briefly address the active noise cancellation. It would be one thing if the noise cancellation circuitry were ground-breaking (it's not) and was the primary draw for these headphones (ditto), but since it isn't, it would be nice...

Beats by Dre Studio (Black) review: Beats by Dre Studio (Black)

Beats by Dre Studio (Black)

The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones offer a stylish and comfortable design as well as an exceptionally crisp and balanced audio response with a tight low-end and warm mids. Included are a nice carrying case and a music-phone-compatible cable.

The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones cannot be used without batteries, they're expensive, and the glossy black design is very smudge-prone.

The Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphones deliver the trifecta of sleek, comfortable design, useful features, and top-notch sound quality. If you can afford them, they're a worthy investment toward an improved listening experience.

Monster Beats by Dr. Dre

Intense low-end boom. Solid noise cancellation. Comfortable and cool-looking. Comes with two cables, one traditional and one with an in-line mic and answer button for use with cell phones

Expensive. Runs on AAA batteries, rather than rechargeable cells

Legendary hip-hop icon Dr. Dre, along with Monster Cable, brings the bass with these pricey noise-canceling headphones that excel at hip-hop, electronic, and louder rock music.

The Monster Beats by Dr. Dre headphones cannot be used without batteries. Glossy black design is very smudge-prone, and a few songs sound harsh. Right earcup rattles while you walk.

The unique and stylish Monster Beats by Dr. Dre headphones offer solid audio, useful accessories, and a look that's anything but copycat. For fashion-forward folks with cash to spare, they're a great option.

Beats Studio Wireless HEADPHONES

The Beats Studio Wireless are decent mixed usage headphones with a well-crafted, and stylish over-ear design. They deliver an above-average sound and don't leak much. They're comfortable, stable enough to jog with, and have a sturdy, durable design....

Comfortable and stable fit. ; Slick and sturdy wireless design. ; Low leakage.

Beats Studio Buds offer a compact design, noise-canceling and Android/iOS fast pairing at $150

When they were released in 2019, Powerbeats Pro were standouts. Two-plus years later, they remain one of the more well-rounded wireless earbuds on the market. There are things I would change, of course. Even in 2019, that charging case was ridiculously...
