Beats Studio Buds review: These are the AirPods Pro Lite

With some of the AirPods Pro's best features, but at a way lower price, the Studio Buds make for a great set of everyday true wireless earbuds.

Well-priced ; Good sound quality ; Good ANC ; Good transparency ; Very comfortable

No wireless charging ; No wear sensors ; No EQ or control customization

“In the Studio Buds, Beats found a perfect balance between features and price.”

Beats Studio Buds review: big ambition, imperfect execution

Beats is getting more Android-friendly than ever before.

Compact, comfortable design ; Good sound quality for the price ; USB-C ; They support Android features

Poor noise cancellation ; Disappointing mic performance ; No wireless charging ; They don’t offer all of Apple’s software tricks

The new Beats Studio Buds are $150 noise-canceling earbuds with a sleek, lightweight design. They support special software features on both the iPhone and Android and sound good for the price, but they have disappointing noise cancellation.

Beats Studio Buds Review

Relatively affordable active noise cancellation ; Huge bass matched with crisp, balanced highs ; Easy-to-use on-ear controls ; One-touch pairing with Android and iOS ; Solid iOS integration

Noise cancellation is merely average ; No USB-A adapter or wireless charging capability ; Not for anyone seeking an accurate sound signature

The true wireless Beats Studio Buds deliver thunderous bass depth matched by crisp highs for a balanced mix, with decent noise cancellation for a reasonable price.

Beats Studio Buds review

A sleek, inexpensive AirPods Pro alternative with refined Beats sound.

Wide and well-balanced sound ; Pretty good ANC ; Striking design ; Platform neutral ; Sufficient battery life

Missing key features tied to H1 chip ; So-so call quality and Transparency Mode ; No wireless charging

Beats Studio Buds Review: Balance and Sacrifice

Beats' earbuds are getting into the active noise cancellation game, with the Beats Studio Buds also promising a much smaller package and more flexible product than its previous wireless headp…

Well-balanced musically for a wide range of genres ; Solid battery life ; Near-parity of iPhone and Android features ; ANC is decent

No wireless charging for the case ; Fans of Beats' legendary bass may be left wanting ; No in-ear sensor for automatic pause ; In-call mic performance falls short

Beats Studio Buds True Wireless Review

The Beats Studio Buds Truly Wireless are lightweight in-ears with active noise cancelling (ANC). Unlike most other headphones from this manufacturer, they have a...

Don't leak a lot of audio at high volumes. IPX4 rating. Very consistent audio delivery. Comfortable, well-built design.

Sub-par overall mic performance. Disappointing ANC. Bad passive soundstage performance. No sound customization features.

The Beats Studio Buds are okay for neutral sound. While they have a fairly neutral sound profile, they have an underemphasized bass, so mixes lack thump, rumble, and boom. A dip in the treble range also hurts the clarity of vocals and lead instruments....

Beats Studio Buds review: Everything you could want in a pair of wireless earbuds

Beats is no stranger to wireless headphones, but their first pair of truly wireless earbuds has been a long time coming - and fortunately, they have turned out to be worth the wait. To that Beats is no stranger to wireless headphones, but their first...

Phenomenal sound ; Comfortable fit ; Native support for both Android and iOS ; Easy to use controls ; Water-resistant (IPX4) ; Priced well ; App ; Supports Apple Music Spatial Audio on both Android and iOS

No wireless charging ; Mediocre mic ; Not the strongest ANC

The first truly wireless earbuds from Beats sound incredible and they’re priced well

Beats Studio Buds long-term review: An excellent AirPods alternative | AppleInsider

We've been using Beats Studio Buds for a long time alongside AirPods and AirPods Pro. Where they fit in the lineup isn't a simple question.

Review: Beats Studio Buds | Sharp Beats Beats Studio Buds

We have seldom been so excited about a pair of earplugs for less than £200. Or so similarly disappointed.

Hassle-free connection. Noise reduction and ambient sound, supports Spatial Audio. Missing plugs can be found using the mobile phone.

Harsh sound, no app with EQ adjustment.

I was looking forward to testing Beats Studio Buds, especially since Powerbeats Pro are my favorite plugs to train with. But Studio Buds fatt flat on the ground with a sound that is too sharp and brutal for me to appreciate.

Beats Studio Buds review: Priced to please?

The $149.95 RRP for the Beats Studio Buds sounds tempting. In our detailed review, it falls just short of Apple's AirPods Pro in comparison.

Powerful sound ; Solid ANC ; Fits well in the ear ; Very compact earbuds ; Also "easy-to-use" under Android

Bass is too heavy ; No equalizer in the Beats app ; Too few features at this price point

In summary, Apple and Beats' work on the Studio Buds is one of the better true wireless earbuds with ANC out there, offering surprisingly much value for less than $150. By "much", we mainly mean the powerful sound quality and the good ANC. Build...
