CM Storm Sonuz Headset Review

The CM Storm Sonuz is a 2.0 stereo headset with great sound and powerful bass, suitable to those on a budget or users who don't care about having a 5.1 surround sound model. The peripheral is huge and a bit clunky; it takes up a great deal of desktop...

CM Storm Sonuz Gaming Headset

CM Storm's Sonuz is a good headset for the price and is, for the casual FFA gamer, close to perfect with stock configurations. The sound stage is coherent and makes it quite easy to tell from where an enemy is coming. It is, in fact, better than the...

Comfortable, Durable design, Good price performance ratio, Tweakable tonality, Quality cable, Good sound stage coherency

Midrange does not sound that natural, Not the most neutral headset for competitive gaming, Ear pads slightly too shallow (tip of ear touches driver base)

CM Storm Sonuz Gaming Headset Review

ConclusionThere's no denying that Cooler Master has created a solid headset. Oversized 53mm drivers, detachable mic, and gold plated 3.5mm headphone plugs provide the versatility to work on many devices. It is almost a perfect headset. I can overlook...

CM Storm Sonuz Review

CM Storm have some impressive peripherals in their armoury. The Sonuz is the latest to blast it's way on to the gaming headset scene. How does it compare? Read on...

Great Looking ; Quality Materials ; Durable ; Removable microphone ; Lightweight

Dull mid tones (foam in-situ) ; Basic packaging (no 6mm adapter, replacement cups or travel pouch) ; Mid range sometimes muffled

When we first got a glimpse of the Sonuz we were eager to try the headset out. It looks excellent, certainly better than the bulk of today's DJ style 'phones. The materials used to build the Sonuz are of a very high quality and certainly feel like they...

CM Storm Sonuz Gaming Headset Review

The 'CM Storm' brand is Cooler Master's name for high-end gaming peripherals and components. Much like ASUS' Republic of Gamers, the CM Storm range has a primary target audience of those who take gaming seriously and demand the most from their...

Me Likey

Another 2 ft on that cord and it was a 5 star rating. Everything from Bad Religion thru EZ-E back down thru Koko Taylor sounds excellent. Shop around got these for 15 dollars less than this listing.

Nice feel on the head..Braided cord. 3.5mm plugs. They sound excellent very pleased. Best available option at this pricepoint

The cord..little too short I can still use it around by desk but if I didn't have my computer on the desk it would be restrictive

Nice headphones

When I'm in TS3 somebody said my mic seemed a bit muffled. It's probably just because I haven't set any sort of settings on my comp since the last microphone. I haven't had anybody tell me I need to be louder, nor anybody really complain. The only...

Very comfortable, good cord length, good sound quality, decent price

Not much of a con but the jacks on the end of the cord for the microphone and headphones aren't clearly marked. Turns out there are 2 small rings colored on the end of the jack that tell you, but you wouldn't see it if it were plugged in. Just a mild...

Unbeatable In This Price-Range

Cooler Master has designed themselves a winner with the CM Storm Sonuz headphones, and to make it an ever sweeter deal, Cooler Master offers this all to you for $69.99, which is seriously cheap for a headset this powerful. If anybody is in the market...

Pros ; Excellent Bass Reproduction ; The Highs Are Exceptionally Clear For The Price Range ; Build Quality Is Stellar For Being Mostly Plastic ; Price Is Unbeatable ; Cable Is Plenty Long For The Average PC User ; Sound Reproduction Is Natural Sounding...

Cons ; Mids Have The Tendency To Get Washed Out ; The Sound Stage Feels A Bit Squished At Times When Watching Movies
