Etymotic Ety8

The Etymotic Ety8 provides high-end stereo sound without the messy cables, but with a few quirks.

Clear, transparent sound quality. Decent Bluetooth range. Very lightweight. Built-in remote. Solid battery life. Slim iPod adapter.

Truly strange styling. Irritating nylon cord. Some audio anomalies on material with strong bass. Expensive, especially with the iPod adapter. Bright sound might not appeal to everyone.

Etymotic ety8 In-The-Ear Bluetooth Earphones

Though Bluetooth stereo headsets have been around for some time, there hasn't been a high-end model geared toward audiophilesuntil now. The Etymotic Ety8 brings high-resolution sound to your iPod or smartphone and does so without all those annoying...

The Ety8 continues Etymotic's tradition of high-resolution earphones, this time in a wireless but somewhat flawed Bluetooth model.

Etymotic Research ety8 Wireless Bluetooth Earphones

Etymotic Research takes a giant leap towards high-fidelity wireless freedom with these near-perfect (and surprisingly sexy) in-ear, noise-isolating earphones.

I want nothing more than to give the ety8s four stars. However, there are a few undeniable drawbacks: the random dropouts, the slight weight on your ears, the lack of subtle highs and lows (when compared to the ER4Ps), and pressure from using the...

Superb sound but earphones look clunky

Excellent sound quality

The earphones look daft

The aesthetics left us cold, which is a shame because the sound quality is fantastic

These weird-looking contraptions are Bluetooth earphones, comprising two earpieces and a transmitter that plugs into the bottom of your iPod. You can pair the 'phones with other Bluetooth devices

Not so much an audio accessory as a space-age ear-wear. The ety8s don’t look great, and you have to ram them into your ears, but they sound superb. Etymotic Research ety8 is tagged with etymotic research, headphones and mp3. Select a tag (etymotic...

Etymotic Research - Ety8

Etymotic Research, a world leader of in-ear technology, is well known for its innovative developments in the field of aural research. It should be well equipped to develop the world's first in-ear Bluetooth headphones then, designed ...

The Ety8 headphones are only a worthwhile investment if you have an iPod. Audio performance, although not quite on par with a decent pair of bud earphones, is still pretty good, they're easy to set up and fairly comfortable to wear. If you're willing...
