GamesterGear Cruiser P3210 Gaming Headset Review

GamesterGear has quite a good headset for the price with its Cruiser P3210, thanks to the rumble effect it features. Read on for Anthony's full thoughts.

GamesterGear Cruiser P3210 Gaming Headset Review

We all like great sound quality, right? I'm very sure that if you own a gaming, or a heavily customized PC, you like to have high quality audio, be it by means of a surround sound system or a great pair of headphones. The usual downside with a set of...

The results on the PS3 are very much the same as on the PC. The set up procedure is a little bit convoluted, you have to go into the sound setting and set the outputs/inputs. The 3D sound is great, and the rumble feature varies from game to game. While...

Does what it says

I recommend you spend a bit more for something nicer. As awesome the rumble effect sounds, it never seemed to work right and only caused annoyance.

-It worked -Cheap

-Cheap(You get what you pay for) -Rumble pack for the left ear seemed to be constantly going at a barely noticeable rate, even under muted sound -Doesn't seem to fit my head right, causing discomfort after an hour or two

It came broken

None, Since they came to me broken

Out the box the microphone didn't work. I stupidly forgot about them in the box way too long, took em out and spent about a month trying various methods of fixing my laptop by deleting bloatware, using the windows driver, etc. Tried it on like 3...

Great gaming headphones, but I've had better

Overall great headphones, at a good price I can definitely recommend them.

They have a cool rumble feature that adds a lot of immersion when gaming, and the sound quality is great. They also seem pretty durable and haven't given me any problems yet.

They have a weird, cheap feeling material where the headphones contact your face.

Pretty good so far

When I first plugged the headset in there was a static sound that was coming from the game side of the volume control. It was audible during games and was very annoying. I found that my speakers being plugged in at the same time as the headphones...

It has pretty good sound. The rumble effect is a nice touch to many games and not distracting. The mic sounds great and doesn't have any noticeable cracking or background noise issues. Being able to pull the mic off when it's not in use is very helpful.

The detachable mic piece is nice, but it feels like I would be able to easily twist too much and damage the plastic around it. The mic itself feels sturdy, but the piece that hold it in place feels cheap in comparison. The headset is comfortable in...

Good and so-so, but works well with Linux

(Using Ubuntu 14.04) I simply plugged in the USB cord and the audio plug and was immediately able to select the new sound device in TeamSpeak 3's settings (it shows up as "Cruiser P3210 Analog" devices). I had to adjust the "Voice Activation Detection"...

Keeping in mind I bought these for gaming: The sound is quite good, I'm very happy with the audio. The rumble effect is a fun gimmick that I expected I'd disable, but actually enjoy it (explosions are most intense!). The microphone is quite good, at...

By far the single most annoying thing about this headset is the cushion at the top. It is far, *far* too narrow and after less than a minute, feels like I have an iron pipe laying across the top of my head. I frequently have to adjust it to keep it...

Broken already

If you only listen with it, it is a great headset, but the mic is very poor quality.

Picks up sounds well and has really good sound quality. The cord is AMAZINGLY long and easy to move around with.

Not so durable. The headset ALREADY broke and it has been less than 2 months. I only use it to chat during games and take good care of it. But the mic part is already failing to work. It started out great, but when the mic part fails, which I was using...

Good deal

Bought my girlfriend a pair of these and a friend of mine is thinking about ordering them after he used mine.

Cheap. Owned for 4 months and still work. Good sound, rumble effect is cool.

When adjusting mic sometimes it comes unplugged.
