Genius HP-02 review

 

The Genius HP-02 are very cheap earphones, and not ideal for fans of posh audio. They are however pretty good for £7

Good build, super cheap, long cable

Dull bass, ill-defined sound, tacky cable

If you're someone who breaks headphones all the time, a cheap pair might be an idea. They'll last, but don't expect more than bare-bones sound.

Genius HP-02 Live 3.5mm Connector Canal Noise-isolation headphones with enhanced bass

 

The sound quality is really good and there's a noticible difference from ear buds. You can't hear ANYTHING with these things on and you're totally emersed. Though it can be a bad thing if someone is calling you. It also comes with three different sizes...

It takes some time getting used to how it feels in your ears. It fills your canal fully and it takes a bit of time to get used to it

Great for cheap!

 

Great sound, great bass, great product. 3 different sets of rubber pads for the right fit in the ear canal

Sometimes the rubber pads come off too easily, but I have small ear canals

Don't Waste Your Time...

 

Wished I would have spent more and got good ones. Geesh, how many times have I said that in my life. Maybe someday I'll learn.

Comes with three sets of in-ear fittings and they work/fit great. That is the ONLY pro

Sound terrible. Out of the 5 or so pairs of ear-buds I have including the pair that came free with the Sansa Clip I bought along with this, these are the worst sounding. No noise cancelling, no bass enhancement; in fact, the horrible bass quality is...

Bad headphones

 

I would not recommend these to anyone under any circumstances. In my opinion, these are the worst earbuds I've ever used. I've bought earbuds that cost $1 that were more efficient that these. They do not work as advertised and they do not fit very well...

None, really. The sound quality isn't bad

They don't fit [my ears] well at all. The "noise canceling" is non existent. I don't hear any "improved bass". The right earbud stopped working after 5 or so uses

I'm not sure so sure about the cheaper headphones that are cheaper than these.

These ear phones are awesome, at the very least for general use. I'm gonna stick with this brand for all my sound needs

Too bad NewEgg carries such a low quality item. Using this with a new Sansa E200. I spent an hour playing with the equalizer hoping to get a some kind of quality sound, no luck. You're warned. They are junk.

WOW..These are the worst sounding ear buds I have ever heard

Very limited bass, lacks volume, sounds tinny, distortion at higher volumes. Just not what I expected after reading the other reviews. Wasted $20 (with shipping)

Great Earphones!

 

I don't no why anyone would pay more for a set of general use ear canal phones with good noise cancelling.

For the price? Outstanding!! I listen mostly to audio books so deep basss isn't my thing. For general all around use with good noise cancelling, these phones cannot be beat. ( I use 'em mowing the lawn)
