Iqua 603 SUN

This solar-powered Bluetooth headset lets you chat without charging.

Crisp sound quality. Solar panel charges the unit without an AC adapter. Can be used with or without an ear hook.

Solar panel doesn't improve continuous talk time. No noise-canceling circuitry. Finicky volume controls.

Iqua 603 Sun Bluetooth Headset review

Editor's note: The above rating is based on a short-term review of the Iqua Sun, as we have not been able to conduct long-term tests at the time of the review. The rating may change after longer term tests are conducted.

The Iqua Sun is a solar-powered headset that has a theoretically infinite standby time. It also fits securely in the ear and has decent call quality.

The Iqua Sun doesn't perform very well in windy conditions and is a little on the bulky side.

Though the Iqua Sun may not look like much, its solar power source makes it a great choice for those wanting a Bluetooth headset with an eco-friendly bent.

The Iqua 603 SUN Bluetooth headset not only sounds good, its integrated solar panel keeps it continually charged. Unless you're a heavy talker, you may never need to plug it in.

Iqua 603 SUN Bluetooth Headset

Can adding a solar panel differentiate the Iqua 603 from the crowd?

Comfort is one more area where the device does fall down. The earphone-style earpiece has two different sized rubber covers in the packaging, but I found even the smaller one too large to fit into my ear comfortably. Unless I have freakish ears (I do...

Iqua 603 SUN bluetooth headset

This bluetooth headset takes advantage of available sunlight to help youget through the day, supplementing the internal battery with solar power -when we actually get some sun of course!

Iqua have a range of Bluetooth headsets - this is the first product that I've reviewed from the company - the iQua 603 SUN Bluetooth headset. Physically this headset is on the larger size measuring 48 x 25 x 12mm (LxWxH) and weights 14g. This extra...
