Jabra BT160 Bluetooth Headset review: Jabra BT160 Bluetooth Headset

Jabra BT160 Bluetooth Headset

The Jabra BT160 comes with 33 different design faceplates, plus you have the option of designing your own. It has a flexible ear hook, a comfortable fit, easy-to-press buttons, and solid audio quality.

It takes a while to get the right fit with the Jabra BT160, and it doesn't sound great in noisy environments.

Besides offering decent audio quality and a comfortable fit, the Jabra BT160's multiple design faceplates set it apart from most other Bluetooth headsets.

Review: Jabra BT160

TreoCentral's Annie Latham reviews the Jabra BT160 bluetooth headset

Comfortable, Pairs easily and is easy-to-use, Faceplate customization options are endless

Answer/End button feels cheap, Works only about 10 feet away from the Treo (not 10 meters/33 feet as claimed), No carrying case or decent place to store faceplates

In my opinion the BT160 is what it is… a unique, very fun and fashionable way to move up to a Bluetooth headset without looking like a Borg. If the 33 included faceplates don't do it for you, go wild and make your own. The customization possibilities...

The fashion innovation is a gimmick, but the rest of you will appreciate a competitively priced and easy to use unit that performs fairly well.

Price, Ease of use, Features List

Design with paper inserts a little tacky, Volume could be improved in heavy noise environments

Jabra BT160

The Jabra BT-160 is a great no-fuss Bluetoothheadset. Sure, it may not have all bells and whistles of more expensive models, but it ships with 33 replaceable covers and works well.

Swappable covers ; Inexpensive

A little uncomfortable for long converstaions

The device will work with any Bluetooth-compatible phone, and the freedom to change its appearance helps make the Jabra BT160 an excellent earpiece for those looking to make the occasional phone call.

Jabra BT160 Bluetooth Headset

I bought 2 of these, one for my mom and one for my girlfriend. I have the BT150 which I have had for about 3 years & love. This is the exact same just with interchangeable skins which they love.

Price, sound quality, comes with 33 different skins

One of two was DOA

Almost Worthless

Don't even think about it!

Won't take up much room in the trashcan

Doesn't stay on head if you so much as look the other direction. Completely useless in windy areas. I'm using it with the chocolate and the phone has to be about 1 foot away in direct line of sight, just static if I put it in a pocket...The light is so...

Gets The Job Done

Pairs easily, has a good talk time/standby time. you can customize the faceplate which is pretty cool also. sound quality is not bad, mostly clear. good for the money

not the best at staying on your ear if you shake your head. if your just walking around it works fine though
