Review: Jabra BT8010

Plug in a second earpiece to make this headset stereo (provided your phone supports stereo A2DP Bluetooth). Both earpieces fit comfortably and sound spectacular. A...

Jabra BT8010 review: Jabra BT8010

Jabra BT8010

The Jabra BT8010 can be converted into a stereo headset by connecting a second earpiece. The OLED display shows caller ID, plus you can use it to scroll through phone contacts. You also can use it as a remote control for a Bluetooth-enabled music player.

The Jabra BT8010 is bigger than most Bluetooth headsets and has a rather large earpiece that may not fit comfortably in smaller ears.

The Jabra BT8010 can be converted from a mono Bluetooth headset into a stereo one with a second earpiece. Other innovative design features such as an OLED display, a jog dial, and a simple on/off slider makes this one of the best Bluetooth headsets out...

Review: Jabra BT8010

Read on for a full review of the new Jabra BT8010, including a hands-on video. Despite some nasty PPC compatibility issues, the BT8010 just might be the best Bluetooth

Innovative "dual-use" design, Nice display, Good sound quality and range, Easy to operate

Hijacks all sound on some PPC Devices, May be too bulky for some

The BT8010 is great headset in design, sound quality, and in the fact that it innovatively combines a nice phone headset with a nice set of stereo headsets. I wholeheartedly recommend the BT8010 to WM5 Smartphone users, but for PPC-edition users it is...

Jabra BT8010 review

It wasn't too long ago that stereo Bluetooth was a rarity in most cell phones. Now, thanks to the popularity of music phones, stereo Bluetooth has become increasingly prevalent in most multimedia handsets. While regular Bluetooth (or Bluetooth 1.0)...

5 Years Later, it's still my BEST bluetooth

I've owned the Jabra BT8010 for 5 years. Think about that. 5 YEARS. And it still works perfectly - amazing flexibility, high sound quality, Star-Trek techno-geek functionality and more features. I believe the size is both a curse and blessing - it's...

+ great for phone AND music + best volume control in the industry, even today + works with multiple Bluetooth sources (phones, PCs) + haven't lost it since it's too BIG to lose! ++ TOUGH as nails - 5 years and going strong!

- BIG as a single Bluetooth - not as many phone control features as new Bluetooths - ear hook takes some tinkering to get right - 2nd earpiece cable is an inch too short

Works great

I was really put off as how this was different from the retail version (about $40 more expensive); I don't know if they are refurbished or something similar, but it doesn't looked used, and the only difference was lack of packaging. So if you feel a...

Works great, execellent price ; Ear hooks are VERY customizable; you can put about any kink and bend you want into them. As a result, they sit on your ears, not in them; your ears don't get NEARLY as sore as other in-ear products I have had do over an...

Unbelievable for the price

The OEM packs do not come with the USB adapter cable that is included in the retail package. You need this cable to use the Control Center and upgrade the firmware/add contacts to the headset. READ THE MANUAL! You will be missing out on much of the...

This is an update to an earlier review ; For the even lower price (22.95) I got 2 more of these in additition to one I had purchased and reveiwed earlier at full price. As a D*** field tech I am on the phone constantly. This pairs up with both of my...

Mono Unit Only

The return policy is easy and fair so wasn't a big deal other than the time to ship back.

Seems like a good product

The bullk package I received did not have the second stereo earpiece or connector cable. Inquired to customer service and was informed that this unit ships with the mono earpiece only

It looks used

Would have given this product 5 stars except for its horrible. I should have have probably bought new rather than oem.

For all purposes, the bluetooth is great. Stereo is a snap and sounds great. You cannot find another product with this price/performance ratio Excellent product on Jabra's part. They have firmware upgrades on Jabra's website although the software will...

The OEM version that newegg is selling appears to used. Cosmetically, mine came all scratched up and the cover looks like it got burnt with strange purple paint. Don't get it and plan on gifting it to anyone. In regards to the product. The ear piece...

Great Deal

I was so impressed with the reliability, simplicity and quality of this device and at a price 25% of what I would expect to pay that I bought 2 more for spares!!!

Paired with my BB Bold immediately ; So easy to use and volume control is a wonder ; Simple controls without needing to memorize all the complexities common on other BT headsets for all the features. I use the basics and they came without reading ;...

Slightly bulky and uncomfortable but this prevents loss. I had the smallest made and lost it within a month. I am not one of those people that walks around with my BT headset waiting for a call so I do not wear it all the time
