Jabra Elite 85h review: like the rest, but not the best

 

Jabra's head is in the right place, but a few flaws keep it from greatness

30-hour battery life with noise canceling on ; Noise canceling is effective ; Automatically pause when you take them off

Sound quality lags the Sony 1000X M3 ; SmartSound feature suffers too many false positives in noisy city ; The large ear cups look bulky

Jabra’s Elite 85h wireless over-ear headphones have excellent battery life and noise canceling. Its biggest flaw is its so-so sound quality, which falls below Sony’s 1000X M3, which you can sometimes find for the same price.
