Jabra Halo Smart review

Jabra's Halo Smart is easily the best headset for phone calls. Music is just a bonus.

At $80, the Halo Smart are priced well enough, but our endorsement could have been earned even at a higher price thanks for their excellent execution of their dual functions. For pure music listening, there are better options if you’re extremely picky,...

Jabra Halo Smart

What's special about it? Well, since it's from Jabra, you'd hope it would work really well as a headset for making calls. And it does, with multiple microphones and noise reduction technology that helps tamp down ambient noise like wind. It's also...

The Jabra Halo Smart is a sturdily built neck-band style headphone that performs very well as a headset for making cell phone calls, offers good battery life, and decent sound for music if you get a tight seal. Neckband vibrates when a call comes in.

You may not get a secure, tight seal from any of the included ear tips, which leads to a poor fit and a reduction in sound quality.

While it doesn't do much to distinguish itself from other neckband-style headphones from a design standpoint, the Jabra Halo Smart seems sturdily built, performs very well as a headset for making calls and offers decent sound quality for music if you...

Jabra Halo Smart

The Jabra Halo Smart makes excellent voice calls for a pair of Bluetooth earphones, but musical prowess is lacking.

Clear voice calls. Long battery life. Relatively inexpensive.

Little sub-bass response. High-mids and highs lack clarity and finesse.

Conclusions If you want a stereo Bluetooth headset you can count on for voice calls, the Jabra Halo Smart is a very good option. You can do a lot better on the music side by spending just a bit more, though; the Editors' Choice JBL Reflect Mini BT...

Halo Smart review: Jabra's first neckband-style Bluetooth headphone is almost excellent

Welcome another neckband-style headphone to the world: the Jabra Halo Smart, which retails for $80 (sorry, UK and Australian readers, no word on international pricing yet).

Review: Jabra Halo Smart Wireless Headphones

Suddenly Bluetooth earphones are a lot more important. Thanks iPhone 7! And here's a set that might just do the trick of replacing wired with wireless:

Good quality sound, long battery life, provides for convenient Google Now/Siri use

Multifunction button a bit stiff, USB charge connection fiddly

Goondu review: Jabra Halo Smart September 11th, 2016 | by Wilson Wong Audio-visual 2 PHOTO: Handout

The Halo Smart is not a bad Bluetooth headset but the idea that it could function as a necklace needs rethinking. It works for some users but not others.

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

Solid for the price

These headphones have excellent battery life for the price. Audio is solid if you can get a decent seal from the earbuds although they could be a bit louder. My only criticisms are that sometimes the audio is a bit distorted while moving and the...
