Jabra BT3030 Bluetooth Stereo Headset review

Now that stereo Bluetooth has become a common feature in a lot of music phones, it's no surprise that stereo Bluetooth headsets have become quite popular as well. Stereo Bluetooth headsets come in many shapes and sizes, from the behind-the-ear style of...

The Jabra BT3030 is slim and lightweight, plus it has tactile and easy-to-use controls. We especially like that it has a 3.5-mm headset jack so you can use it with any headphones. It's affordable and music quality was decent.

The Jabra BT3030's call quality could be improved.

The Jabra BT3030 is a great, affordable option for a stereo Bluetooth headset, if you want to use your own headphones.

Best stereo Bluetooth headphones for cell phones

The Jabra BT3030 (also called the Jabra Street) is a dog-tag-shaped Bluetooth transmitter shipped with earbuds. These headphones can let you take calls as well as stream music, though they will only work with A2DP-compatible phones and media players --...

Good music quality, earbuds included, can be used with other earbuds/headphones, easy-to-use controls

Fair call quality, weak bass, microphone placement

Review: Jabra BT3030 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones

If you haven't heard of Jabra, you've probably been living under a rock somewhere. The New Hampshire based subsidiary of Danish GN Netcom (the maker of the worlds first

Usable several different ways, Uses standard headphones and mini usb jacks

Doesn't work the best for phone calls, No LCD for music information

I've had real trouble finding an A2DP headset that I really like. I love the concept of being able to walk around listening to my music without having the wires. All of the Bluetooth stereo headsets that I have used have been limiting in some way...

Jabra BT3030

Resembling a fashionable dog tag rather than a Bluetooth stereo remote and handsfree device, Jabra's BT3030 certainly lays claim to the mobile phone m...

Dog tag design, good volume levels, easy operation and pairing

Slight delay when handling calls and music, incoming voice could be clearer

The BT3030 does a solid job at wirelessly handling calls and music, and also commands a respectable asking price.

Jabra BT3030

Jabra goes to war with this dog-tag inspired hands-free receiver. While the BT3030 works well the decision is yours as to whether or not you'd actually wear it around your neck.

Good call quality ; Pairs easily with devices

Did you notice it looks like a dog-tag

With the issue of design aside, the BT3030 worked well and sounded good. As a remote for your music player its functionality is limited, but there's probably not a lot you could add without doubling the size of the device. We're happy to recommend the...

Two different ways to listen : Jabra Street & Creative Aurvana In-Ear2

The first from Jabra ‘music and talk meet the streets'. The second from Creative who at one time were the only name that mattered in sound cards, the Aurvana In-Ear2 earbuds which promise up to 95% noise suppression.

So from a company that have grown up with sound a rather nice set of earbuds that most would be happy to use

Consumer review (cnet.com)

I have had my BT3030 for about 3 yrs and I LOVE IT!

I use it at night when I'm watching videos on my IPad and don't risk falling asleep, rolling over, and sending my IPad crashing to the floor. I also have used it with my noice cancelling headset on an airplane or in the car. Another benefit is that it...

The best thing is that I can keep my ITouch in my purse and the dogtag in my pocket and not be tied up in wires. It makes listening to music and watching videos much more pleasant, and when I move around, I don't have to untangle myself first.

Volume range could be better.

charger......

the charger cost an mediate con report and a two egg drop, otherwise a good little unit so far.

It paired easily, the supplied headphones sound very good. full testing will begin the morning. charges directly thru my computer using a mini USB cord

the unit i received came with it's very own charger. the total length of the charger and molded mini usb cable is 14 inches. Oh the charger is useless because it has a "type G" connector which is mainly used in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus,...

Worth the wait

I like it and wish I had bought this a while ago.

It feels solid and durable, which is exactly what I want out of it. When I work out, I like to wear earbuds and watch movies. On more than a few occasions, I've caught the cord of my earbuds with my hand and launched my phone a distance. So my choices...

The lanyard is a bit short, so now that I've experimented a little, I'm not sure it's realistic to think I'll be making my adjustments from this device. I'll probably adjust on the phone. Nevertheless, it's solving the specific problem I wanted to...
