The JLab Hear may look like standard Bluetooth earbuds because that's how they started. The company has made the transition from audio-only gear to the OTC hearing aids space, and it's done so in style—proving that you really can get a reasonably...

Make no mistake: These are big, bulky aids (at 4.94 grams each) and won’t fool anyone that you aren’t using a hearing assistance product. In fact, your friends may even think you’re being rude by sitting at the dinner table with your earbuds in.

Jlab Hear Otc Hearing Aid

 

For the hearing-aid curious, these over-the-counter earbuds are amazingly affordable and effectively pull double duty.

Effectively does double duty as a hearing aid and earbud. Much more effective than other ultracheap hearing aids. Clever case.

Rather large and bulky; not suitable for long-term wear. App is buggy. Bluetooth mode disables noise cancellation.
