Bottom Line: The versatile Kingston HyperX Cloud Mix works very well as both a wired gaming headset and a pair of Bluetooth headphones.

The HyperX Cloud Mix is a weird experiment, and one I don’t think is entirely successful. It’s expensive, the logo is obnoxious, and splitting the difference between wired gaming headset and mobile Bluetooth means HyperX doesn’t really nail either...

An excellent headset that goes a long way to justify its pricetag with versatility, excellent audio, and superb comfort. One of the best we’ve seen, despite that high price point.

People who only care about the mobile half of the equation, and/or gym use, will probably want to stick to something like AirPods or Jaybirds, as the Cloud Mix's size, heat, and control limitations probably aren't balanced by the extra fidelity.
