Koss ProDJ100 (Black) review

DJ headphones are enjoying a renaissance at the moment buoyed by the street smarts of the Monster/Beats range and a proliferation of cheap music-creation software on portable devices.

The Koss PRO DJ100 s have a decent sound for a good price. The headphones have an analytical, though not harsh, sound that makes them suitable to budget audiophiles and recording musicians. The headphones seem well-constructed.

The headphones can make your ears sweaty and are uncomfortable to wear for hours at a time. The headphones aren't able to dig up very much bass and aren't suited to the Monster Beats crowd. The stereo/mono switch is a little bit gimmicky.

While we can't see many DJs using them, the Koss PRO DJ100s are a decent set of headphones that will expose the detail in your music.

Great for price

Great for the price. I use them every day at work and they take a beating. The base is not as strong as beats but they hold up very well. They are crisp and clear and hard to beat at this price point.

Great sound, light and good construction. Blocks out side noise well. Come with very nice carrying case.

Don't like standard curly cord it came with, but easy fix was found. I went to the place the.shack where the radios could be found and got a nice long cord I like for a few bucks.

"these are great headphones for the price."

These are great headphones if you want a good pair of headphones for a reasonable price. While they definitely don't sound as good as expensive headphones the quality is still quit adequate and they are not in fact top heavy on the range.

Very Nice, Especially For Under $50!

I got mine for $35, and I can't figure out why. They sound perfect to me, with forward mids, clear vocals, and bass that thumps, but isn't in your face. Simply put: if you find these for under $80, snatch em up!
