LG Tone Ultra (HBS800)

 

The LG Tone Ultra Bluetooth earphones' unique design makes them ideal for the gym, and just as functional anywhere else.

Powerful, distortion-free, wireless audio performance. Adjustable modes for deeper bass or more treble. Comfortable, secure fit ideal for workouts. Can pair with two devices simultaneously.

Despite workout-oriented design, not actually waterproof. Sound signature not for purists. Having controls around neck doesn't necessarily make them easier to use.

Does the job

 

For the price I would still recommend as my issues may just be isolated.

Look great, comfortable, good sound quality

Only 1 con. Others have trouble hearing me very well. They complain my voice cuts in and out and also sounds like I'm talking in a tin can.

Purchased Headset Not Covered By LG

 

I bought 3 headsets at the same time. This one was not genuine.

Comfortable Fit, Good Battery Life, Decent Sound

Right Earbud Died In Under A Year Of Light Use. LG Identified It As A Non-LG Product And Would Not Cover Under Warranty.

Broke first time I ran with it

 

I bought a couple of jaybird buds and they have worked for much longer.

Good sound quality and battery life.

Can't take any sweat apparently. Or perhaps even moisture. And then there is the balancing some necklace and the strange way it hold the ear buds that doesn't really work.

Garbage

 

Worked well when first received, but into the thrid month started having problem holding a link to phone or other bluetooth sources.

Now into the third monthes started to drop bluetooth link intermittening, even when source was less than a foot away from headset. Finally just died and wont turn on or respond. Pure garbage expect a lot more for the cost of the item.

Not What Was Expected

 

I had this headset already, loved every part of it, but when ordering a second here I was disappointed to get one that did not include a Original LG Accessory hologram stamp, did not have the proper voice prompts and was made of a different and cheaper...

Cheaply made, obvious quality differences from headset pictured, sound and ANC quality not on par with Genuine LG accessory HBS-800 headset.

Lightweight! I forget I'm wearing them until they vibrate for an incoming call and I then just pop one in my ear and press the call button to answer, too easy, phone stays in pocket for hours. Most the time(depending on the program) after a call or...

Will not unpause a song sometimes, but I don't know if this is the headphones or my phone, the program will close and you will have to go back to the program in your phone and press play/stop a couple times to get the headphone controls to start...
