Logitech Gaming Headset G330 (Black) review

Last year we looked at a pair of wireless headsets designed for gaming, but recently we've concentrated more on the wired variety. We've looked at offerings from Razer and Turtle Beach --both of which were a bit on the pricier side. All in all, the...

Extremely comfortable; behind-the-head design; adjustable noise-isolating boom mic; included USB dongle adapter.

Average sound quality; boom mic may require some adjusting.

The G330 Gaming Headset is one of, if not the, most comfortable headsets we've ever tested and may have you sacrificing audio quality for comfort.

Logitech G330 Gaming Headset Review

The G330 Gaming Headset uses an adjustable behind-the-head design, which some gamers prefer. It also is the first adjustable design, which is great for people who have had uncomfortable models in the past. For those who may be in noisy environments, no...

Comfortable ; Adjustable behind-the-neck design ; Noise-canceling microphone ; USB/analog adapter

Flat audio quality

If you can handle not having the best audio and would rather have the ultimate in comfortability, the Logitech G330 Gaming Headset is available at Amazon.com for just under $50 with free shipping.

Review: Logitech G330 Gaming Headset

All too often gaming products overestimate the needs of actual gamers. After all, not everyone is a professional gamer or even looking for a “professional level” product. Often people want something simple and affordable that enables them to do what...

Logitech Gaming Headset G330

Logitech Gaming Headset G330 review: a lightweight headset for marathon gaming sessions

Behind-the-head design, noise-cancelling microphone, USB sound card, inline audio controls

Feels flimsy

For voice chat Logitech's Gaming Headset G330 is quite useful, but gamers might feel let down by the headset's overall performance.

Logitech G330

The G330 may not sound great, but it's certainly one of the most comfortable headphones around.

Adjustable headband provides very good comfort ; In-line volume control ; 3.5mm connectors

Non-replaceable ear pads ; Pricey ; Mediocre performance when not connected via USB

Priced at AU$99.95, we find it hard to recommend the Logitech G330 headset as a good buy. Though it includes a USB sound card, the actual performance of this headset leaves a lot to be desired. Comfort and the performance gained when using the USB...

Logitech Gaming Headset G330 review

The Logitech G330, for £45, offers pedestrian performance. As a solution for VoIP calls, the G330 is quite useful, but gamers might feel let down by the unit's overall performance.

small, light-weight gaming headset, good sound quality for price but headband design flaw

I have used this headset for several years for gaming and VoIP. It is small and easy to throw in a backback, but still delivers good sound quality for the price. It is much smaller/lighter/cooler than my gamecom 780 and I especially like the USB+3.5mm...

Might be ok if they didn't hurt....

Both my husband and I found these ridiculously painful. If they didn't hurt the top of your ears they'd be fine, but not making it through a guild run without pain is a deal-breaker.

Logitech, durable, connectors, mic works well

Hurt the tops of my ears too bad to use

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Decent sound quality, good mic

- Mic filters background noise very well and transmits speech clearly - basically, I don't have to think about it, which is ideal. - Decent sound quality for the price. It sounds pretty much identical to my (basic) speakers - which is to say, nothing...

- Because of the design, you can't really lean back against something (a couch, say) while wearing it. - Not available anymore! I'd love to buy one for work.
